Sereno Hotels to Open Lake Como Property August 1

il sereno lago di comoSereno Hotels has announced that Il Sereno, Lago di Como, the first new build hotel on Lake Como in decades, is set to open August 1. 

Designed by Milan-based Patricia Urquiola, the 30 suite hotel will have a restaurant by Michelin-starred Chef Andrea Berton, also of Milan. 

The hotel will be next tot he village of Torno, surrounded by views of the lake. The property’s garden also overlooks the lake, with two large vertical gardens designed by famed French botanist Patrick Blanc. At the center of the gardens is a 60-foot-long infinity pool surrounded by a large sundeck.
