Seven Stars Resort, a luxury resort located on Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos, announced the appointment of Bryan Guillot of the Thomas Lee Group to lead sales and marketing initiatives for the resort in the U.S. and Canada, in addition to directing the property’s planned upgrades and enhancements scheduled for the upcoming winter season.
Guillot is currently the president of the Thomas Lee Group, a professional hospitality consulting organization which assists hotel, casino, condominium and resort clients in brand management, operations, sales, and marketing development.
Most recently, Guillot served as chief marketing officer of Baha Mar Resorts, where he oversaw the start-up sales and marketing initiatives of the planned mega-resort in the Bahamas.
Previously, Guillot was responsible for the successful planning and opening of Universal Studios’ first property, The Portofino Bay Hotel. As vice president, resorts/park and event sales and marketing for Universal Studios, Guillot was responsible for launching the new “Universal Orlando” destination. Prior to his work with Universal, he served as vice president of sales and marketing for Tishman Hotel Corporation, and worked for Westin Hotels and Resorts for 13 years.
