Disney executive Sharon Siskie has been named senior vice president of sales for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, U.S., effective immediately.
In this role, Siskie will be responsible for leisure and non-leisure sales channels within the domestic Walt Disney Parks and Resorts segment. She will also oversee the sales and marketing organizations for Canada and Latin America, as well as global in-bound receptive channels. In addition, Siskie will head the Walt Disney Travel Company and oversee travel operations including Disney contact centers.
A 21-year Disney veteran, Siskie most recently served as vice president, marketing and sales, international, where she was responsible for providing strategic direction for consumer and trade marketing, as well as travel industry sales efforts in Canada and Latin America for Disney Parks.
Siskie has also held a variety of executive sales and marketing positions within the Disney Parks organization.
Prior to joining the Disney Company, Siskie worked in a number of roles for Premier Cruise Lines in Port Canaveral, Florida, and has been a Certified Travel Consultant since 1997. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and an MBA from Stetson University in Deland, Florida.
