Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel & Casino Names New Director of Sales and Marketing

The Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel & Casino in Puerto Rico has named Armando Emanuelli director of sales and marketing. Emanuelli brings more than 23 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry to his new position, for which he is responsible for overseeing the sales operations and marketing efforts at the 240-room property.

Prior to joining the hotel, he served as director of global accounts for ConferenceDirect, where he developed the company’s partnerships, recruited a sales team and built brand awareness.

During his career, Emanuelli has held an array of sales and marketing positions in the hospitality industry. Previously, he led sales and marketing departments for three mid-sized hotels in Palmas del Mar, Caguas and Isla Verde. Other experience includes seven years at The Westin Rio Mar Beach Golf Resort & Casino as director of sales; seven years with Hyatt Hotels of Puerto Rico and nine years with American Airlines, Inc.
