Singapore Arrivals Numbers Jump Almost 16 Percent

Singapore's international tourism arrival numbers are showing a 15.7 percent increase in the first quarter of 2011, compared to the same time in the previous year. The first three months of 2011 showed 3.12 million international visitors arriving in Singapore.

The U.S. market was the biggest contributor to the accommodations sector performance for Q1, with 40 percent of overall tourism receipts for this category.
