Singapore Awards Integrated Sentosa Resort Project

Singapore's Sentose Island will be getting a $3.4 billion integrated resort project that will include a Universal Studios location with a Dreamworks digital-animation studio, a Quest marine-life park, a Maritime Xperiential museum, and eight hotels with 1,830 rooms. Also on tap are an ESPA spa location with villas, and a show, "Le Vie," developed by members of the team that developed such Cirque du Soleil shows in Las Vegas as "KA" and "O." Singapore's Tender Approving Authority made its choice from three bids. The winning proposal is a joint venture between Genting International and Star Cruises.
