On Site: Jamaica's John Lynch Expects to Retain Position Following Change in Ministry

As part of our coverage of the opening of the IBEROSTAR Cancun, Travel Agent sat down with Jamaica's Director of Tourism, John Lynch, who attended the event as a special guest, and learned that he expects to retain his position following the recent departure of former Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett.

Lynch told us he hasn't been given an official guarantee that he will return by new Minister of Tourism Dr. Wykeham McNeill, but he expects to retain his position since he has two years remaining on his contract.

Lynch told us McNeill will be naming his new tourism board by next week.
