The St. Regis Aspen Resort is offering guests hands-on activities and adventures exclusive to the Colorado Rockies beginning July 15, 2013. Programs range from a signature Aspen bike ride to fly fishing the Roaring Fork River, with each experience led by local leaders in their field.
“Our new adventure-focused offerings go beyond the conventional to offer new and different ways to experience Aspen,” said Heather Steenge-Hart, general manager of The St. Regis Aspen Resort. “ When added to The St. Regis’ idyllic setting, world-class dining and spa, we believe a little adventure or exploration makes for the perfect getaway.”
New adventure programs are offered year-round, changing with the season. Current summer and fall highlights include:
• The St. Regis Blast & Cast – Guests design their own outdoor adventure with The St. Regis Aspen’s exclusive partner, the Aspen Outfitting Company. Aspen’s Roaring Fork River offers fly fishing, while clay target shooting is offered at a private shooting range. In this multi-day experience, guests can select from clay target shooting, fly fishing or a combination of the two during their stay. Package begins at $987 for 3 nights, based on single occupancy, exclusive of tax, and includes all necessary equipment.
• The St. Regis Aspen Hunting Clinic – The Aspen Outfitting Company will guide and instruct guests on a custom-tailored, progressive clinic. The three-night, four-day experience includes transportation to hunting sites, daily lunch, ammunition, fire arms and lodging for three nights. Packages begin at $3,756.00, inclusive of a complimentary room upgrade.
• Aspen Mountain Hike – Steenge-Hart will lead an afternoon hike every Monday and Friday at 4 p.m. Hikes are approximately one hour in length and are complimentary to guests. All fitness levels are welcome.
• Woody Creek Ride – The St. Regis Aspen Resort’s own Director of Sales & Marketing leads guests on a guided ride to the Wood Creek Tavern, approximately 18 miles roundtrip. The ride is offered every Thursday, departing at 9 a.m. Bicycle rentals are complimentary and all hotel guests are encouraged to join.
The resort is also offering culinary amenities to guests including Trecento Quindici Decano, Chefs Club by FOOD & WINE restaurant, and Remède Spa and more.
