St. Regis opened its first resort in French Polynesia. The St. Regis Resort, Bora Bora has 100 over-water and beach villas, many of which have terrace whirlpools or private swimming pools; and one-, two- and three-bedroom villas. Rooms are outfitted with private outdoor showers, plasma TVs, Bose DVD/CD players and high-speed Internet access. Three restaurants are on property as well as the 13,000-square-foot Spa Miri Miri. The resort also has a kids club. Starwood's other French Polynesian properties include the Sheraton Hotel Tahiti, Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa and Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa, a Luxury Collection Hotel.
