Starwood has announced that the company will add the Riviera Palm Springs in California to the Tribute Portfolio, the company's recently-launched independent hotel brand.
The property will debut as the Riviera Palm Springs, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, in November 2015 following a multi-million upgrade, including the addition of a new pool bar, wedding pavilion and enhanced lobby.
The Riviera Palm Springs offers 398 rooms and more than 52,000 square feet of both indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. The resort also has a fitness center, business center, three outdoor pools, and an 11,000 square foot spa with 18 treatment rooms. Circa 59, the resort’s signature Palm Springs restaurant, offers eco-friendly seafood, boutique farm meats and locally-grown produce from the Coachella Valley. Bars and lounges at the resort, include the Starlite Lounge; Sidebar, which has its own resident mixologist; and two poolside bars.
