Tauck Holds Pricing in Europe; Adds 10 Programs

Tauck World Discovery is bullish on Europe this year, adding multiple programs to the region.

Five are land programs, two are river cruises, and two are new Tauck Bridges family programs. Additionally, there is the new “Tauck at Sea” Mediterranean cruise and the new riverboat, the MS Swiss Sapphire, which is the soon-to-debut sister of the Swiss Emerald (shown here).

Because Tauck priced its 2008 European programs beginning last spring, it says that it has held prices, despite the weakening dollar, saving its clients more than 10 percent.

Tauck’s 44-page “Invitation To Europe” brochure has just been mailed to travel agents and consumers, and a brochure highlighting Tauck’s 12 programs in Italy will mail later this month.

New Tauck programs include “Bellissima Northern Italy”; “Alpine Interlude”; “Wonders of Greece”; “Realm of the Czars: Helsinki to Moscow”; “Russian Glories, Baltic Treasures”; “The Sweet Life: Rome & Sorrento”; “Spanish Adventure: Explorers & Conquistadors”; “The Rhine and Moselle”;  “Prague to the Black Sea” and “Mediterranean Discovery.”  Visit www.tauck.com.
