Thailand Ends 2010 on a Positive Note

The Thai tourism industry is reporting that it is on track to end 2010 with strong numbers, despite the rough patches the country faced throughout the year.

The government is attributing the growth in numbers to a few key factors, including the quick recovery at the end of the April-May political crisis, the overall improvement of the worldwide economic struggles and the Tourism Authority of Thailand's recovery campaigns that they have staged throughout the year.

International visitor arrivals from January to November show an increase of 12.6 percent.
