Thailand's Fringe Festival Will Run Through February

Thailand's Fringe Festival kicked off November 12 and will run through February 25, 2012.

The festival is set in Hua Hin and this year's is already topping the charts as one of the best. The event opened with a Japanese Contemporary Dance rendition of "Three Sisters," a literary classic.

As Christmas Eve approaches, travelers can look forward to Hua Hin's Patravadi High School's performance of Christmas songs, along with a turkey dinner and various student performances.

The ceremony's conclusion in February will feature a co-production with Festival la Fête, French artist Jérôme Bel and the Thai dancer Pichet Klunchun, performing "Pichet Klunchun and Myself," a combo of traditional and modern dance.

All Fringe Festival performances begin at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
