Tiger Airways Increases Flights in Australia

Tiger Airways reached some major milestones this week for travel in Australia: Three new daily return flights between Brisbane and Sydney began on Monday, and regular services between Brisbane and Melbourne (Avalon Airport) followed on Tuesday. New daily flights between Sydney and the Sunshine Coast will launch on March 27.

Domestic travel to and from Queensland’s capital city will be helped by early morning, mid morning and afternoon/evening flight every day linking  Brisbane with Sydney – the second busiest route in Australia and one of the busiest routes in the world.

Tiger Airways’ Australia’s Managing Director, Crawford Rix, said that the airline has recently committed to increasing flights across Australia by around 20 percent in the coming year.
