Tokyo's Services are Up and Running

Tokyo issued an update yesterday, May 18, regarding the status of its various facilities. According to the report, the majority of the city's attractions and services are up and running, with only a few remaining closed. Read the full report here.

In addition, Iwate Prefecture's cultural Hiraizumi area and Tokyo's Ogasawara islands have both received endorsements to be listed as World Heritage sites.The final decision will be made when the UNESCO World Heritage Committee convenes in Paris on June 19.

It was also announced that Tokyo will host the French Film Festival this year, which kicks off in June.
