Top 10 Canadian Travel Markets

Canadian agents should take a look at this list released by Hotwire.com of the hottest travel markets for residents of the Great White North.

The top 10 markets are:

1. Toronto
Visit the Festival of Fire firework competition or try over 250 beers at the Festival of Beer. The city is also great for music lovers who can check out the Waterfront Blues. There are also many cultural attractions like the Royal Ontario Museum or the CN Tower.

2. Montreal
Check out the International Jazz Festival, the Botanical Garden and the Basilique Notre-Dame-de-Montreal.

3. Vancouver
Spend time outdoors in Queen Elizabeth Park or enjoy outdoor theater with Bard on the Beach. Vancouver is also home to the largest firework competition in the world, the Celebration of Light.

4. New York City
New York City has something for everyone. Enjoy a show on Broadway, the boardwalk in Coney Island and the restaurants during Summer Restaurant Week.

5. Ottawa
Visit Parliament Hill or bicycle on one of the many pathways and trails throughout the city. Ottawa is also home to one of Canada's last remaining authentic steam-trains.

6. Seattle
There is more to see in Seattle during the summer than just the Space Needle and Pike Place Market. Seafair, one of America's biggest community festivals, calls Seattle home during the summer months. Enjoy parades and planes, including the Milk Carton Derby and the Fleet Arrival.

7. Niagara Falls
Besides the most notable attraction visit the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens or enjoy traditional music at the Irish Festival.

8. Chicago
