Travel Agent rounded up a list of Mexico and Latin American holiday deals back in November, and as the holiday season draws closer there are still a few chances for agents to offer some last-minute discounts to their clients. Here are our favorite travel deals that are still available for the holiday season.
1. The Air Credit Package at the CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa includes a $200 credit that will be applied to the guest’s hotel expenses during their stay, such as the room rate or food. In order to receive this package, travelers must book a five-night stay by December 31, 2011, for travel from January 1 through April 30, 2012, and then present their air coupon when they check-in. The package includes the $200 Air Credit and a deluxe room with a private balcony and guests must use the promotional code LPR when booking their stay. The rates range from $169 to $369, and are based per room, per night. The rooms are subject to availability.
2. The CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa is also offering an Escape! Relaxation Spa Package now through December 31, 2011. The package includes: a deluxe room, daily breakfast buffet for two at La Estancia restaurant, a welcome drink upon arrival, a complimentary spa bath presentation in the guest’s room, complimentary access for two in wellness areas, including the sauna, per stay, two complimentary fitness classes per stay, one spa farewell gift per treatment, complimentary access for two to the gym and indoor pool daily, and two 50 minute spa treatments. Guests must stay at least three nights, rates range from $159 to $469, per room, per night, and the promotional code ZJ1 must be used when booking the package.
3. Mexico.com is offering a “Buy 3 Nights, Get 1 Free” package at the Hyatt Regency Cancun from now until December 20, 2011. Guests will receive one free night when they book three nights. This offer cannot be combined with the "20% Food and Beverages" promotion and guests must select the “Buy 3 Nights, Get 1 Free” offer when they are booking this package. Rates start from $101.95.
4. Guests can receive up to 42 percent off their stay at the Temptation Resort Spa Los Cabos when they book a room through Mexico.com, from now until January 9, 2012, for stays between now and April 7, 2012. Rates start from $130.95 and the “Up to 42% Off Your Stay” offer must be selected when booking this package.
5. The “25% Off Your Stay” package deal is now being offered at Las Brisas Acapulco from now until December 20, 2011, for stays between now and December 31, 2011. The “25% Off Your Stay” offer must be selected when booking the reservation at Mexico.com and rates start from $170.
6. Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach All Suites & Spa is now offering a winter package for $505 from now until December 15, 2011, for stays from January 2 through January 31, 2012. The package is per person and includes: three-night accommodations, roundtrip airport and hotel transfers, and tax and service charges. The rates apply to double occupancy and are land only.
7. The Grand Veras Riviera Nayarit is offering an all-inclusive winter package with rates starting at $986. The package must be booked by December 31, 2011 and travel must take place from January 3 through March 31, 2012. The package includes three-night hotel accommodations, tax and service charges and roundtrip airport and hotel transfers, in addition to meals, drinks and snacks, daily activities, non-motorized water sports, nightly entertainment and more.
8. Travelers to Cartagena can take advantage of a new package offered through Budget Travel, with rates starting at $979. The package must be booked by December 22, 2011 and includes: roundtrip airfare from Miami to Cartagena on Avianca Airlines, a five-night stay at the Hotel Regatta, a half-day tour of Cartagena, including the old walled city, Palace of Inquisition and more, a full-day tour of the Rosario Islands, airport transfers, airline fuel surcharges, and daily breakfast. An additional $166 may also be applied in airport taxes and fees. 9. Budget Travel is also offering a winter package deal for those wishing to travel to Rio de Janeiro. The package must be booked by December 10, 2011 and rates start from $1,199. The package includes: roundtrip airfare to Rio de Janeiro on Taca Airlines, a five-night stay at the Windsor Palace Hotel in Copacabana, a half-day tour to Corcovado, roundtrip airport transfers, hotel taxes, fuel surcharges and daily breakfast. There might also be an additional $94 in airport taxes and fees. Rates are based on double occupancy and room upgrades are available for an extra fee.
10. The Victoria House in San Pedro, Belize is in the final days of its Summer & Fall Special and guests can still receive a sixth night free, when they book five nights. Reservations must be booked by December 22, 2011, with travel taking place now through December 22, 2011.
