Tour Operators Offer Agent and Client Incentives to Mexico

Tour operators are making Mexico look even more attractive to both travel agents and consumers. We've got the scoop on what MLT Vacations and Travel Impressions are offering up as of late to bring business south of the border.

In partnership with Dreams, Now and Sunscape Resorts & Spas throughout Mexico (and Curaco and the DR), Travel Impressions is offering up to a $350 air credit, along with $200 in resort coupons, totaling up to $550 in savings for the client on bookings received by April 28 with travel completed by August 22. 

How it works: Air credit will be applied in $50 increments per night, totaling $150 on three-night stays, $250 on five-night stays and $350 on seven-night stays.

Agents who book by March 31 will receive a $25 American Express Gift Cheque for each stay of five nights or more with the Cancel for Any REason Waiver.

MLT Vacations has launched a new loyalty recognition program for its top producing travel agent partners. Known as the MLT Vacations Diamond Program, the new program replaces the previous STAR program and rewards travel agency owners for their strong sales, loyalty and dedication to MLT and its brands.

The Diamond Program features three levels: Diamond, Diamond Preferred and Diamond Elite. Each level has a threshold based in part on annual revenue and year-over-year growth. The previous STAR program only had two levels. This third category provides MLT with a higher level engagement with entry-level Diamond accounts and growth accounts.
