Tourism New Zealand has created a new program to help Virtuoso travel advisors become New Zealand luxury experts.
According to the tourism board, members of the new program can gain advantages when promoting New Zealand as a luxury destination through increased knowledge of the country’s regions and ongoing training by Tourism New Zealand.
They also receive a luxury listing on Tourism New Zealand’s consumer website, www.newzealand.com, and exclusive use of the newly designed Luxury Expert Logo.
As part of the program, agents must complete the 10 specially selected online training modules, travel to New Zealand and participate in eight Virtuoso webinars.
Agents can sign up for the Kiwi Specialist Program for Virtuoso members at www.traveltrade.newzealand.com.
Tourism New Zealand joined the Virtuoso network 12 months ago and is working closely with the preferred properties, onsites and tour operators to reach agents in the luxury sector. Opportunities for agents in the next twelve months include exclusive Virtuoso training webinars and familiarizations.
