Trafalgar Creates 'Cruise-Tour' for Southern Spain and Portugal

Trafalgar has added an optional seven-day Douro Valley Cruise to its 10-day Southern Spain & Portugal program. The land portion of the vacation (priced from $1,575 per person, land only), visits Madrid, Toledo, Granada, Seville and Lisbon, while the seven-day Trafalgar Uniworld Douro Valley Cruise (priced at $1,499 per person, based on double cabin occupancy, cruise only) visits Régua, Pinhão, Barca d'Alva and Salamanca.

Those who pay for their trip seven months in advance will save five percent. Additionally, Trafalgar says it will honor the 2008 brochure pricing for the European motorcoach tour, despite the declining value of the dollar against the Euro and other major currencies.
