Travelers headed to Los Cabos can now help the local community with these new resort programs.

Guests visiting any of the five Solmar properties in Cabo San Lucas have the opportunity to give a $10 donation upon checkout to the Solmar Foundation. The foundation helps a local shelter, nursing home and orphanage. Once a week, guests can participate in a “Helping Hands” tour of these areas in need.

Cabos Villas Beach Resort encourages guests to donate one dollar per each day of the total booked stay. The money goes to the Los Cabos Children’s Foundation, which provides medical assistance to local children suffering from illnesses like cancer. The efforts of the foundation are showcased once a week at a cocktail party and on guest’s televisions.

Casa Dorado also asks its visitors to donate a dollar per night to help the Questro Foundation. The foundation helps foster educated and productive responsible people and community.

For Los Cabos visitors who want to help the environment a stay at Esperanza, an Auberge Resort is the way to go. When guest book adventure trips like swimming with whale sharks or the turtle release program a portion of the cost goes to protecting the local sea life.

Lastly, Guest staying at Hilton Los Cabos Beach and Golf Resort and Sandos Finisterra will help support several local charities. Hilton works with Sarahuaro, Liga Mac, and Ayudando a Mama organzations, while Sandos Finisterra supports the local Humane Society.
