Trinidad and Tobago Celebrates New Flights from NYC

Trinidad and Tobago, in conjunction with Delta Airlines, held a reception last week in New York City to promote new nonstop service from Kennedy Airport to Port of Spain, Trinidad.

The event, which took place at Delta’s Sky 360 Lounge, gave New York consumers and media a taste of what the destination has to offer. Delta launched twice-weekly nonstop flights from Kennedy to Piarco International Airport in Trinidad on December 20. Representatives from both Trinidad’s Tourism & Development Company and the Tobago House of Assembly were present at last week’s reception, as well as Trinidad and Tobago’s New York consulate general, Harold Robertson. Trinidad and Tobago also recently welcomed weekly nonstop service from Atlanta Hartsfield to Crown Point International Airport in Tobago, which began on December 15.
