All of Universal's theme parks in the U.S. now offer a faster online ticket-purchasing program that allows agents to earn additional commission when booking Universal theme park tickets for clients. After clicking on "Orlando" or "Hollywood" in the Book Ticket Only section and choosing the desired product ticket quantity, agents will then be directed to VAX Vacation to complete the transaction. Additional enhanced ticket options include Universal Orlando Resort's Meal Deal packages and tickets to the new Blue Man Group show. Agents also can customize e-mail reservation templates with their agency logo, images and other relevant vacation details. Concerning the technology, Dennis Quinn, vice president of travel industry sales at Universal Orlando Resort stated: "We wanted to provide travel agents with a quick and simple way to book commissionable ticket products for their clients online-in just a few seconds." He added, "These tickets can be added to previously purchased airline or hotel reservations to enhance the guest experience and increase agent commissions." Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations will offer an additional one percent commission when agents book ticket-only products to Universal Studios Hollywood or Universal Orlando Resort's Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks through August 17.
