On May 10, US Airways, in partnership with  the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, hosted its fifth annual Las Vegas Scavenger Hunt. 23 qualifying travel agents competed to win a trip to Las Vegas and their share of $15,000 in air travel. Agents qualified based on sales to Las Vegas between August 2010 and January 2011.  The teams followed various clues to pick up items at hotels along the Las Vegas Strip and downtown. The members of the winning team were:

Deborah Hardwick    Sandys Get Away Travel in Waco, TX

Brenda Koss         Star Travel Service in Feasterville, PA.

Rose Larsen        California Tours in San Francisco, CA

Glen Jennings     Parkair Travel in Wichita Falls, TX
Patricia Whitmire     LeisureNet Travel in Greenville, SC

“The US Airways Scavenger Hunt has become a successful incentive program for Las Vegas,” said John Meyer, leisure sales executive for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. “It not only helps us increase bookings, but also enables us to reward top-producing travel agents while educating them about our ever-changing destination.”
