Vegas' Newest Thrill

As if Las Vegas wasn't entertaining enough, The Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel & Casino will soon be home to the city's newest thrill - SkyJump Las Vegas. This "controlled freefall" gives adventure-seekers the opportunity to plunge from 855 feet  above the Strip.

After a safety lesson, divers will strap into the Stratosphere's jump suits and connect to a "descender" machine. The whole experience, from safety lesson until your feet are safely back on terra firma, lasts about 30 minutes.

Expected to debut in April of this year, the SkyJump will join the tower's three other rides, Big Shot, X-Scream and Insanity.
