The Venetian and The Palazzo have made recent additions to its national accounts sales team for the largest, greenest and most sophisticated convention hotel complex in the world. Lori Aparicio and Karen Petty have been selected to spearhead efforts related to the sales efforts of national accounts for the Northeast and Midwest, respectively.
The Venetian and The Palazzo, along with the adjacent newly renovated Sands Expo, offer luxury service to meetings professionals with more than 2.25 million square feet of flexible space and more than 7,000 AAA Five Diamond-rated suites under one roof. For the largest groups, more than 40,000 hotel rooms are within a 10-minute walk.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lori and Karen to our sales team,” said John Caparella, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo. “Both of these dynamic hospitality professionals bring a wealth of diversity and expertise to their new roles in partnering with meeting planners to find solutions to their needs at our award-winning properties.”
The Las Vegas master-planned development, which combines The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo and Convention Center all under one roof, is the largest ‘green’ building on the planet. The Venetian and Sands Expo have received the LEED Gold Award for Existing Buildings and The Palazzo is a recipient of the LEED Silver Award for New Construction.
The complex features an unrivaled green meeting and convention program that offers a selection of standard environmentally responsible services. Meeting professionals can also choose from an array of optional services to make an event even greener.
