Virgin Atlantic Celebrates Royal Wedding

Clients traveling in the air on April 29 may well feel cheated out of watching the Royal Wedding. However, to soothe potential disappointments, Virgin Atlantic Airways will be hosting onboard "street parties" for passengers flying on the day of the royal wedding. Flights departing out of the UK on the April 29, heading to the U.S. and the Caribbean, will be transformed into a traditional UK street party to ensure that passengers don't miss out on royal wedding fun.

Passengers on these flights in Economy and Premium Economy will receive an afternoon tea of wedding cake and traditional English breakfast tea served in a souvenir union jack lunch box. In addition, the cabins will be decorated in bunting and union jack headrests to create a patriotic atmosphere. All passengers will also receive special Kate- and William-themed love hearts and ice cream during the flight.

Upper Class passengers will have the option to join in with the festivities as the cabin will be decorated in union jack bunting and wedding cake and wedding favors will be available at the Upper Class bar. Each flight will also have a royal wedding themed dressing up box for the crew to take part in the onboard festivities.
