Virgin Holidays has opened the doors to its first Florida concierge lounge at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, a 5V Favourites Plus hotel.

Positioned on the top floor of the resort, the new concierge lounge will contain two distinct zones. A play zone will keep guests active with three iMacs offering complimentary internet access, a pool table, table football, Wii gaming and binoculars for getting scenic views of nearby Walt Disney World’s theme parks.

For those who prefer to settle down, a relax zone offers a large screen TV so that guests can tune in to various channels or their children can enjoy Walt Disney films. Guests also can borrow a selection of newspapers and magazines, order room service from a special menu, and speak with the Virgin Holidays concierge team to help plan their vacation or—as called by non-Americans—holiday.

The Floridian lounge also will incorporate Virgin Holidays’ “Rockstar” guest experience program. It joins fellow concierge lounges at hotels overseas. They are: Sea Breeze Hotel Barbados; Waves Hotel, also in Barbados; at Atlantis Dubai; and The Hilton Ras al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates.

Virgin Holidays is planning to open more lounges in 2012.
