Waikiki Hotel to Become Holiday Inn

Here's some exciting news from Honolulu: Outrigger Enterprises Group, Hawaii’s largest locally owned hotel operator, and InterContinental Hotels Group, the world’s largest hotel group by number of rooms, has announced the signing of a license agreement to rebrand the OHANA Waikiki Beachcomber hotel as the Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber Resort

The rebranding is reportedly a part of Holiday Inn's recent multi-year $1 billion relaunch. Outrigger will continue to own and manage the rebranded resort, and all employees will keep their jobs as employees of Outrigger Hotels Hawaii. The rebranding is expected to be complete in November.
