Waldorf Astoria Park City in Utah at the base of Canyons Resort is beefing up its après-ski options with new restaurants and boutiques for the upcoming season, starting this December.

The new Slopes by Talisker restaurant will offer locally sourced ingredients and seasonal fare by Chef John Murcko and Executive Chef Clement Gelas. The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with special attention to gluten free and vegan options. This restaurant is a spiritual cousin to the other restaurants in the Talisker Restaurant Collection, including The Farm, which also opened in Canyons Resort to widespread acclaim this past February. (Hint: try the oxtail onion soup.)

Crave Café off the main lobby will offer grab-and-go coffee, espresso, breakfast pastries, take-out lunch items and desserts for a quick snack before skiing or for enjoying in front of the fireplace. Guests can also order a prepared meal to enjoy in their suite.

Scoop is the property’s new poolside offering, with specialty drinks, s’mores and gelato. Its proximity to the heated pool, whirlpools and outdoor fire pits (open year-round) make it a good, if slightly less wintry, après-ski option.

Finally, Palette Lobby Boutique will offer designer apparel, accessories and gifts for a brief shopping break.
