Hilton Reopens Ocean Crystal Chapel as AKALA Chapel
Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort has announced that its Ocean Crystal Chapel has now been reopened as the AKALA Chapel.
The AKALA Chapel, managed by the Watabe Wedding Corporation, held its grand opening on February 12 and is located in the center of Hilton Hawaiian Village. The property is bordered by a lava rock waterfall, garden pool, island blooms and tropical greenery.
The property’s first floor offers a spacious guest lounge, while the second story has seating for 50 guests, along with floor-to-ceiling windows and the “AKALA Gazebo”, a venue providing space for up to 25 guests.
A la carte pricing for ceremonies starts from $2,500 for both chapels and includes a 90-minute reservation at the facility, wedding rehearsal, ceremony coordinator, and a keepsake marriage certificate. Additionally, a la carte pricing for the gazebo starts at $1,000 for a 60-minute reservation of the area, coordinator and keepsake marriage certificate.
The property’s wedding teams can also assist with ceremony packages that include officiates, musicians, photographers and a fresh flower lei.

For clients who are planning a large wedding in Las Vegas, the new International Peace Education Center (IPEC) is available.
IPEC Las Vegas has announced it will offer 10 percent commission to travel agents who book destination weddings at this new freestanding conference center, which is located five minutes from McCarran International Airport and the Las Vegas Strip.
The wedding venue has a 5,000- square-foot entryway with dual curving staircases and a 29-foot-tall ceiling with white and gold decor, as well as a 10,000-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 720 guests for a reception or 450 for a seated dinner.
