Get an Inside Tour of Warwick Paradise Island

Nassau Harbour is the main star at the Bahamas’ newest all-inclusive resort, Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas. During our recent coverage of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s (CHTA) Caribbean Travel Marketplace, Travel Agent toured the new adults-only hotel on Paradise Island and found that whether it was from the pool or while dining at the relaxing Edgewater Grill restaurant, Nassau Harbour was always on the main stage at this resort. We also appreciated the Warwick’s clean design and excellent service.

Simply put, clients who love boats and harbor vistas will get maximum enjoyment at this resort. While the hotel has a manmade beach by the boardwalk (not on the ocean), Warwick Paradise Island is best suited for those clients who are equally pleased with a cool pool scene with harbor views.

The best accommodations here are the Harbour Premium Balcony rooms as well as those that are harbor side corner rooms overlooking the pool, harbor, boardwalk and terrace.

The best categories for groups here are the Harbour Deluxe, with two double beds, which sleeps four people; the Harbour Premium Balcony, with a king bed and deluxe futon sofa, which sleeps a maximum of three people or one of the resort’s three One Bedroom Harbourfront Suites that have one king bed plus a full-size deluxe futon sofa bed in the living room. Guests can spread out in comfort in one of these suites on the 11th and 12th floors. Each suite is spread over 650 square feet and combines a Harbour Deluxe Balcony Room with a separate living area.

The suites include two balconies with seating for two people each, upgraded spacious bathroom with deep soaking tub and extra large shower, views of Nassau Harbour, one king bed, a full-size sofa bed, deluxe futon in the living room, complimentary premium Wi-Fi, iHome devices and Keurig coffee maker.

The resort has 39 pairs of connecting rooms (78 rooms total) and one triple connection providing more opportunities for larger adult families to spread out in comfort.

The Edgewater Grill has the best seating, as all seats face the harbor on the lower patio area. We were told the best dish here is the broiled Mahi Mahi seasoned with lemon, olive oil, herbs and garlic, served with vegetables and choice of potato. It is suggested to make reservations at least a week in advance and during busy holiday times additional time should be added. To make dinner reservations and other dining enquiries, reach out to Lorenzo Symonette ([email protected]), hotel manager. Agents should note that the restaurants here are open to locals who purchase a Deluxe Day Pass or Night Pass.

The resort’s 1,900-square-foot Amber Spa has treatment rooms and salon services, a VIP section and a couple’s area. Here, adults (18 years and older) are welcomed to an array of treatments using exclusive Mila d’Opiz Swiss Beauty products, which contain Swiss natural plant extracts and glacier water. Mila d’Opiz Swiss Beauty products are carried in spas worldwide, predominantly in Europe and Dubai.

With 10 different facial options, ranging from 25 to 80 minutes, Amber Spa provides treatments for all skin types. The signature Amber Favorite begins with a back treatment that involves exfoliation with a Swiss flower scrub followed by a massage and the Mila d’Opiz custom facial. The Amber Favorite Massage is 50 minutes and starts with a Swedish massage, followed by deep tissue massage and a pressure point massage, and finishes with hot stone to release stress and tension.

The Amber Favorite Couples Retreat, the spa’s most luxurious experience, is where guests are pampered together from head to toe. Treatments include a Private Aroma Bath, Aroma Facial and Body Therapy Massage. Another guest favorite is the Swiss Flower Body Polish, affording guests a gentle cleansing and Swiss flower scrub, followed by an oil massage.

Tip: Amber Spa also administers full-service bridal party treatments that include manicures, pedicures, hair and makeup. In-room massages are also available. For all spa enquiries, agents should connect with Carlethia Thurston ([email protected]), spa manager.
