Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa recently announced the appointment of Yarlin Faurer as the hotel's new spa director.
Faurer has more than 15 years of management experience in the hospitality and wellness fields, from guest services to spa operations. She will oversee all aspects of the property's full-service Hibiscus Spa. Faurer's responsibilities will include marketing, management and enhancement of the spa's comprehensive treatment menu.
Faurer arrives at Westin Grand Cayman from Alaya Spa at The Bonaventure Resort in Weston, Florida, where she spent more than five years. During her time at the property, she advanced from her initial position as a massage therapist to spa manager.
Concurrently, Faurer honed her instructional skills as an instructor for various skincare programs at Educating Hands, School of Massage and Skincare in Miami.
Faurer also held a position as spa supervisor at Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, where she was responsible for training massage therapists and estheticians.
