Westin Opens Mountain Resort in California

Westin Monache Resort opened this week in Mammoth, CA, with winter rates starting at $199 per person per night. The Westin Monache's (pronounced "mon-ah-she") one- and two-bedroom suites feature contemporary decor and panoramic mountain views. Furnishings and amenities include gas fireplaces, Westin's signature Heavenly Beds, 32-inch flat-screen TVs and wireless Internet access. The resort also has the Whitebark restaurant and bar; 24-hour room service; ski valet and rental shop; concierge and bell staff; pool and hot tubs; Westin Workout powered by Reebok; Westin Kid's Club; and underground parking.
