What Your Clients Can Expect at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai

Four Seasons Resort Lanai is expected to re-open February 1.

Travel Agent met Tuesday with representatives of the Four Seasons Resort Lanai to find out what the hotel has in store for clients when it reopens in February.

Following a multi-million dollar transformation, Four Seasons Resort Lanai is officially slated to open on February 1. Lori Holland, director of public relations for the hotel, told Travel Agent clients can choose from guided hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and adrenaline-filled UTV adventures in the green upcountry lands, or go off-roading across red dirt roads, colored from volcanic rock, or golf at the Jack Nicklaus Signature Manele Golf Course, which has ocean views from every hole.

In addition, clients can snorkel in a marine sanctuary with colorful fish, enjoy whale watching tours or dive into The Cathedrals, featuring lattices of lava rock which resemble stained glass when light hits.

Lastly, they can immerse themselves in Hawaiian culture through activities with kupuna (elders) or simply relax on a deserted beach accessible only by a 4x4 vehicle.

Guests can spend time with Bruno Amby, who has one of the more interesting jobs as resort aviarist at Four Seasons Resort Lanai. Feathered Resort residents KeO KeO, Ola, Uliuli and Hauoli are part of the Rescue Bird Program, a partnership with the Peninsula Humane Society. Guests can "talk" with the resident birds or learn how to make a bird from a coconut leaf from Bruno – a true Lanai kapuna, or elder, who loves sharing his knowledge of island culture.

Valentine's Day Offer

To complement the opening, the resort is offering romantic clients a relaxing escape to reconnect and unwind just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The resort is offering a series of engaging and over-the-top experiences custom-made for couples, paired with a complimentary Stay Longer - Fourth Night Free experience.

The resort also offers the Valentine’s Blind Tasting Menu, a personalized five-course dinner showcasing known aphrodisiacs and paired with prestigious champagne or clients can enjoy an intimate mixology class and tasting of Valentine’s Day-themed cocktails in one of the new sanctuaries at the oasis pool.

Guests can also dine oceanfront under the stars and enjoy a personalized five-course dinner and wine pairing, or engage in a decadent sweet treat tasting of delicate chocolates and luscious wines. For those looking for adventure during their romantic escapade, the resort offers a variety of customized activities, including horseback riding, "Trilogy Excursions" and more.

Currently named the Four Seasons Manele Bay, the hotel will be renamed The Four Seasons Resort Lanai when it opens February 1.
