  8-11–Cornucopia: Whistler's not to be missed food and wine event
 22–Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains’ official opening day
 Nov. 29-Dec. 2–Whistler Film Festival

December 2007
8–Pontiac Race Centre opens: Located on Cougar Milk on Blackcomb Mountain, the Race Centre is groomed and re-set daily with a dual Giant Slalom course by 10:00 am.
  13–Kokanee Valley Race Series season opener: No racing experience is required to join in on the fun of recreational racing. The series is held on Thursdays throughout the season and is open to skiers, telemarkers and snowboarders with different gender and age divisions.
  16–Park Rider Series: Rail Jam on Whistler: Park Rider Sessions featuring Slopestyle, Rail Jams and Halfpipe will take place on both mountains utilizing the best terrain available. Competitions open to skiers and snowboarders, all ages welcome. Helmets mandatory.
29–King of the Rail Competition: A series of rail jam contests that run on selected Saturday nights under the Magic Chair. King of the Rail contests are for both guys and girls, while Queen of the Rail contests are for girls only. Separate categories for snowboarders and skiers, male and female and adult and youth.

January 2008
 6–Park Rider Series on Blackcomb
  10–Kokanee Valley Race Series
 12-13–Next Snow Search Super Qualifier: a quest to find the neXtreme generation of skiers and snowboarders. It's the first all-mountain, all equipment, all person snow-sports competition.
 17–Kokanee Valley Race Series
 19–King of the Rail Competition
 19-20–Atomic Ski/Snowboard Cross (Saturday—qualifying; Sunday—race): recreational races open to all ages. Amateur skiers and boarders will compete in different divisions on the Nintendo Terrain Park Snowcross course.
 24-27–WMSC Parsons K2 Super G
  25-26–TELUS Winter Classic (Whistler/Blackcomb Fundraiser)
27–Master's Race: SL

February 2008
  1-2–Appleton Rum Peak to Valley Race: Teams of four race a course, which starts on the Whistler Saddle and finishes at Dusty's. Two members race on Friday, two on Saturday. The start order is based on age, with the oldest competitors starting first. The Peak to Valley race has a vertical drop of 1,443 meters, with 180 gates and a course that's over 5 km long.
  3-10–GayWhistler Winter Pride
6-12–Pontiac GMC Canadian Alpine Ski Championships: Members of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team, provincial teams and club teams who competed on the World Cup, Europa Cup, Nor Am Cup and Pontiac GMC Cup race circuits, come together to compete for two titles: the Pontiac GMC Cup and the Canadian Championships.
 10–Park Rider (halfpipe on Blackcomb)
14–Kokanee Valley Race Series
  16–King of the Rail Competition
17–Master's Race (GS on Blackcomb): These races are geared towards both the recreational and experienced/competitive racer.
18-24–FIS World Cup Alpine Ski Races (Men and Women): Whistler will host the Women's Downhill and Super Combined and Men's Super G and Giant Slalom on the new Olympic course.
 18-24–Burton Week: A week of Burton demos, fashion shows, product knowledge seminars, athlete involvement and parties.
 22–Canadian Avalanche Association Gala Fundraising Dinner
28–Kokanee Valley Race Series
Feb. 29-Mar. 1–Showcase Showdown: Night Pipestyle Event
