The Adara Hotel (866-50-ADARA) opened in January 2006 as Whistler's first designer boutique hotel, and is the town's first and only member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The property mixes stylish contemporary décor with Western-woodlands motifs such as resin antlers and crosscut-log designs. The hotel has 41 guest rooms and suites. The best room to book is the Two Bedroom Loft, which is the only two-bedroom suite. Corner bi-level suites have a queen bed, a kitchenette, a living area with a dining table for four, a floating electric fireplace and a bathroom with a custom rain shower on the main level and a lofted bedroom with a king bed and patio on the upper level. Four large windows offer magnificent views of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.
