New York will always remain the travel destination for Sex and the City fans seeking the Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha experience. But with the Sex and The City sequel taking place in Morocco, fanatics can get a head start on the next City adventure in Marrakech.
Filming was recently completed at the Amanjena Hotel in Marrakech, part of the Aman Resorts collection of hotels. The sequel will see the girls leave New York for an exotic trip to Morocco, where they will walk through the dunes of the Sahara Desert, lunch under the shade of a Bedouin tent and frolic about luxury hotel and nightclub scene. British-Iranian actor and comedian Omid Djalili is set to play the hotels Moroccan owner, while Penelope Cruz, Liza Minnelli and Miley Cyrus are all expected to make cameos.
