Italiaoutdoors has introduced a series of small group ski and snowboard tours that combine winter sports with wine tastings and culinary adventures in the Trentino Alto-Adige region of northeastern Italy.
Led by Vernon McClure, an Airborne Ranger turned Defense Department mountaineering instructor, and Kathy Bechtel, a certified ski instructor and chef, these personalized programs can be tailored to a variety of budgets and experience levels.
Dates are available beginning December 2011. Example rates for a week-long adventure start from $2800, all inclusive with the exception of airfare. Itineraries can range from five days to two weeks.
By day, guests ski and explore the Trentino Aldo-Adige region, while by night guests enjoy local cuisine and wine in and around the cities of Bolzano, Trento, Merano and Bressanone.
