Insomniac Events is releasing the highly anticipated line-up including more than 100 artists, performers, and theatrical groups at this year’s 16th Annual Electric Daisy Carnival. World-class electronic acts from across the globe will gather at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway June 8-10, 2012, for the return of North America’s largest electronic music festival.

Consistently devoted to creating a multisensory experience within each festival, Insomniac has established a unique partnership to bring the Las Vegas Strip to the EDC attendees. Blue Man Group will bring a captivating experience to the fans. Wildly popular around the world, Blue Man Group defies simple description. This explosion of color, humor, music, and technology comes to life every night in the custom-built Blue Man Group theatre at The Venetian in Las Vegas and live performance installations in six other cities across four continents.
This year’s festival will also bring European hardstyle powerhouse, Q-dance, to fans in Las Vegas for the company’s first ever debut in the United States. Adding a seventh stage, Insomniac and Q-dance have come together to bring the harder styles of dance music to EDC attendees for three full nights.
The Bassrush stage will be returning to EDC for a second year in Las Vegas, and the bass-music brand will be featuring a smaller festival in Las Vegas on the Thursday of EDC Week.
Insomniac will transform the Speedway into a completely interactive carnival experience featuring an additional 500 theatrical performers, including fire twirlers, aerialists, dancers, and stilt walkers, plus numerous full size amusement rides and attractions that are free for all ticket holders. The 1,000-acre complex will become a fully immersive audiovisual experience with dynamic large-scale art installations creating interactive environments amidst the seven stages, along with state-of-the-art lighting and sound production and a pyrotechnics display nightly.
