Avanti Destinations Adds New Destinations, Experiences in Europe

Avanti Destinations has expanded its Europe portfolio in 2020 and 2021 and released a new brochure, Essence of Europe 2020 – 2021, for travel advisors. The brochure is available at https://book.avantidestinations.com

“Not only are bookings to Europe up over last year, but the average ‘spend’ or dollar value of Europe bookings is up nearly 10 percent,” said Avanti’s CEO, Paul Barry.  “Best-selling countries in Europe remain Italy, France, Ireland, Spain and the UK, but bookings are growing much faster in Greece, Croatia, Switzerland and Portugal.”

For 2020-2021, Avanti has added Morocco and St. Petersburg, Russia, which can be added to other European itineraries. Additionally, many of the new itineraries are focus on food, drink and cooking. Among the new tours and experiences are a private half-day tour of lavender fields and Luberon villages out of Arles, France; a Paris street art walking tour; and a private tour of London spotlighting sites from Mary Poppins. Private tours of the ancient city of Angani outside Rome and private e-bike and horseback tours in several Italian wine regions are also available. 

Among the new itineraries, which agents can customize and combine with other destinations, activities and transfers, are Ultimate Scandinavia, a 13-day tour through Copenhagen, Oslo, Bergen, Stockholm, Helsinki and Rovaniemi, and Italy’s vineyards and sunsets, which spends seven days in the small towns of the Langhe wine region in northern Italy and then Lake Como. Champagne Discovery spends three days in Eparnay, while Salzburg and the Glacier explores Mozart’s birthplace and the setting of “The Sound of Music” over the course of four days. Also available are Swiss Panorama, a 10-day itinerary through Zurich, Lucerne, Grindelwald, Montreux and Geneva, and Bremen & Bremerhaven, a 4-day exploration of the two German sister cities.
