MAST Travel Network recently held its annual All Star trip for top-producers and most-improved agencies at the Grand Floridian Resort at Walt Disney World followed by a 3-night cruise aboard the Disney Wonder. The agency network reports that while at Disney World, MAST presented a donation to A Gift For Teaching, an Orlando organization that provides school supplies to less- fortunate schools and students throughout central Florida.

Valerie Mardle, Director of Development for A Gift For Teaching, was on-hand to accept the gift, saying, “While visiting Orlando, we are thrilled that MAST has brought their own kind of magic to Central Florida. The $500 gift is being matched and with the leveraging power A Gift For Teaching has, more than $10,000 in supplies will be able to reach students in the classroom. We are so appreciative of the generosity MAST displays to host cities and they serve as a model for others.”

Dick Doherty of Crystal Lake Travel, MAST All Star and Chairman of MAST’s Board of Directors said. “Travel agents are members of the community and each, in their own way, give back to their communities in many ways. Collectively through MAST, we can benefit hundreds of children and do our part to ensure the future.”

Nineteen agencies were represented on the MAST All Star trip that was hosted by Disney Destinations and Disney Cruise LineJohn Werner, president of MAST, praised the All Stars saying, “In a year when so many agencies decreased in sales due to a very tough economy, you managed to increase your sales. That is a remarkable achievement for which you deserve to be rewarded.”

MAST Travel Network has 185 member agencies in eight states and Canada
