American Eagle Launches Nonstop New York-Atlanta Service

atlantaAmerican Eagle Airlines is boosting its presence in Delta Air Lines territory with the launch of five daily nonstop flights between LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in New York and Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport (ATL). Eagle is flying the route with CRJ-700 jet aircraft, featuring Eagle's new First Class service.

New York-Atlanta flights depart LGA at 6 a.m., 9:50 a.m., 12:25 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6:35 p.m. and arrive at Hartsfield at 8:20 a.m., 12:10 p.m., 2:55 p.m., 6:40 p.m. and 9:10 p.m. respectively.

Atlanta-New York service departs Hartsfield at 6:30 a.m., 8:50 a.m., 12:40 p.m., 3:25 p.m. and 7:10 p.m., arriving at LGA at 8:40 a.m., 11:10 a.m., 3 p.m., 5:45 p.m. and 9:35 p.m. respectively.   

All of American Eagle's existing fleet of 25 CRJ-700 aircraft have been outfitted with a premium cabin, and the airline has begun taking delivery of 22 new two-class CRJ-700s, with all the new jets arriving by the end of 2011.
