As ski season nears, United Airlines is taking advantage by increasing flights to one of the more affluent and popular ski destinations in the country: Aspen, CO. The carrier is adding a third, daily nonstop from Chicago and increased its nonstop service to San Francisco from four times a week to daily. The expanded service come in addition to 11 daily flights from Denver and three daily nonstop flights from Los Angeles.
Delta Air Lines, meanwhile, will reduce its service from Salt Lake City to from 13 flights per week to eight. Frontier Airlines is offering no service changes with four daily flights between Aspen and Denver.
