Free Admission to Monuments in Wales

St. David's Day is Monday, March 1. In celebration, Cadw, the Welsh Assembly Government's historic environment service, is offering free admission to all of its directly managed and jointly managed monuments in Wales.

On the list of included monuments are Caernarfon Castle, Tintern Abbey and Carreg Cennen Castle. Travelers should note that access to Caerleon Roman Fortress Baths and Blaenafon Ironworks is free year-round.
