Grand Hyatt New York Hires New Director of Sales

Grand Hyatt New York, which is close to its completion of $130 million renovation project, has hired Eamon O’Brien as director of sales. In his new position, O’Brien provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department. 

O’Brien has more than nine years of experience in the hospitality industry. Already a member of the Hyatt family, O’Brien relocated to New York after serving as the associate director of sales for the Hyatt Regency in Chicago. Prior to his role at the Hyatt Regency, O’Brien served as the director of sales and marketing at the Courtyard by Marriott Magnificent Mile. He spent several years working as a senior account executive and sales manager at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile and as a sales manager at the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Downtown before beginning his career in operations for Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile.
