Visitors to Harrah's Las Vegas can now extend their stay thanks to Bags To Go's Off-Airport Check-In. The service, launched this week, allows Harrah's guests flying on participating airlines to check in their bags at the Bags To Go counter on the day of departure and enjoy the remainder of their stay worry-free. Guests can even print out their boarding passes at the Bags To Go counter and check their flight status on specified plasma televisions located around the Harrah's property.
A Bags To Go representative safely and securely transports luggage from Harrah's to McCarran International Airport, allowing travelers to bypass curbside check-in or ticketing counters. Upon arrival at McCarran, luggage is screened by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials and given to the designated carrier to be placed on the proper outbound aircraft. Bags To Go is approved by the TSA to check-in, screen and handle airline luggage. Representatives are trained and certified using the same stringent guidelines as the airlines.
"The convenience of Bags To Go allows Harrah's guests to extend their vacation or business trip and continue enjoying the amenities we have to offer on the property. Most people would prefer to spend that time taking in a show, dining at one of our restaurants or relaxing by the pool instead of waiting in the confined space of the gate area," says Karie Hall, vice president of hotel operations for Harrah's Las Vegas. "We are always striving to create an enjoyable and hassle-free environment for our guests, and by offering the Bags To Go service, they have one less thing to worry about as they prepare to leave Las Vegas."

With the convenience of Bags To Go, you can now drop it off at our counter, located next to the Bell Desk, on the day of departure and bypass the ticketing lines at McCarran Airport. Your bags will be waiting in the baggage claim area at your final destination."
Participating airlines at McCarran International Airport include Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways and Virgin Atlantic Airlines. The $10 per bag fee is in addition to standard airline fees and taxes.
