Hilton to Double Number of China Hotels

Hilton Hotels Corp. plans to double the number of its hotels under management in China in the next several years, Reuters is reporting. Reuters reported the international hotel company, which now manages five hotels in China, plans to open the Hilton Hefei in eastern China's Anhui province by the end of 2006. Plans are underway for hotels in Shanghai, Macau, Xiamen and Shanxi province, as well, the new agency said.
