Collette Vacations is now inviting agents to bring a companion (family, friend, networking partner etc) to experience a new destination on one of six familiarization trips for 2010. The tour operator offers a 100 percent rebate on fam tours.
"The travel agent companion offer was added based on feedback from the agent community," said Frank Marini, Collette’s vice president of sales. "Together with the fam rebate, Collette continues to expand its array of tools and services that support our agency partners."
Collette fams in 2010 include destinations in Kenya and Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, and Italy. In order to qualify for the rebate, travel agents must book the same tour or a tour of higher price within the 12 months following their Collette-sponsored fam trip and materialize 15 or more passengers. The rebate is applicable to the agent-rate cost of the land portion of the fam trip.
