Amadeus Zeros in on Small Hotels

Since October of last year, Amadeus has added 5,000 hotel properties to its global distribution system, 2,000 of which are smaller, independent or budget hotels. Currently, agents who utilize Amadeus' GDS now have access to 75,000 properties. In the last few months, Amadeus has further upgraded its distribution system by adding a "best available rate" program and a "Worldwide Commission Manager." Visit
